Our National Capital (aka State level) team, Canberra Heat (2011 Men’s National Champions) have some useful information for interested players (males & females) including some scrimmage games against the AIS teams.

The FIVB is the governing body responsible for all forms of Volleyball on a global level. Working closely with national federations and private enterprises the FIVB aims to develop Volleyball as a major world media and entertainment sport through world-class planning and organisation of competitions, marketing and development activities. The FIVB is part of the Olympic Movement, contributing to the success of the Olympic Games.

ACT government has a Sport & Recreation Services section which has some free events for sporting club members to attend to better their club, & also information on available Grants.

The Australian Volleyball Federation is the peak body for the administration of the sport of volleyball in Australia, including the previous 2012 Men’s AVL Series & the 2013 Australian Junior Volleyball Championships happening in Canberra (also this site is handy for info on past Junior comps since 1990).
